Spring Valley UMC Goes to the Ranger Game

Join us for the Horizon Texas Conference night at the Rangers Ballpark Saturday, July 19th, 6:00 p.m. Bishop Saenz will throw out the first pitch!

Scan the QR code to buy your tickets. We will sit in section 240 ($20 each). If you prefer, Pastor Frank will purchase your tickets, and you can pay him back!

If you wish to carpool from church, we will leave at 4:30. If you have extra space and are willing to help transport those for whom walking long distances is challenging (including dropoff and pickup as close to the ballpark as possible), please let Pastor Frank know.

Registration for Project Transformation North Texas’ 2025 Summer Camp is OPEN! Camp will take place from June 3- July 24. This year, there will be a location at SVUMC!

These Summer Day Camp programs have a focus on social emotional learning and literacy for children and youth, grades 1-12.

¡Inscripción para el campamento de verano 2025 de Project Transformation North Texas se abrirá pronto! El campamento será el 3 de junio al 24 de julio. Este año estaremos en 6 ubicaciones en Dallas, una ubicación en Gainesville, y una ubicación en Wichita Falls.

Proyecto Transformacion de North Texas es una organización con 24 años de historia en Dallas. Ofrecemos programas de Campamentos de Verano y de Después de la Escuela con un enfoque en el aprendizaje emocional social y la alfabetización para 750 niños y jóvenes, grados 1-12.

M.A.D. (Music, Arts, Drama) Camp 2025

M.A.D. Camp is a weeklong camp encouraging children to tap into various fine arts as a tool for worship.

Ages: Completed Kindergarten - entering 7th grade

Dates: June 9-13, 2025

Time: 9:00am-12:30pm Monday-Friday

Friday ELEMENTARY students will have a special schedule for rehearsal TBA

Friday - PERFORMANCE at 6pm

Children will be participating in a full staged musical that they will put together in 5 days! This year they will perform, “Judge Julie Truly and the Case of the Holey Roof.”

Tuition is $100 and covers the cost of craft supplies, snacks, t-shirts, and staff costs. Scholarships are available, we want all to be able to participate in all that God does during this amazing week. Registration is limited!!! Contact Maeson Bryant or Derrada Rubell-Asbell with any questions.
